Recipe of the Week

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been reflecting with friends on things that have stuck with us since our school days. Today’s recipe has its origins (at least as far as I am concerned) over 50 years ago, though in reality it’s probably somewhat older than that! It comes from an early Domestic Science class, long before GCE O-level, A-level and the tertiary education that led me to teach Home Economics/Food Tech to students ranging in age from 4 to 80+. There’s very little that needs improving – it was perfect then and it still is. I hope you agree!

For a Demonstration of this recipe find me on YouTube: (220) Rock Cakes – YouTube

All Recipes can be found on the respective sub-menu tabs (cakes, puddings… etc.) at the top of the screen

Lots of your pictures can be found on the Recipe Pages and in the Gallery Page. Keep them coming I’ll share them here too!
